FAQs

How do I know if you’ll be a good fit for me?

  • If you are looking to improve your stamina, build strength, and avoid injuries, we should be a great fit. If you are wanting to take a step away from dieting and learn how to fuel your performance in an intuitive and sustainable way, I’m your girl! Still not sure? Go to the contact page and choose ‘discovery call’. This is a free 15 minute conversation where we can get to know each other.

How many sessions will we need to do?

  • In our sessions we will focus on nutrition education and behavior change. As we all know, behavior change takes time! For the first month, I typically recommend having weekly sessions with clients to check in, see how you are progressing on your goals, and address any roadblocks that come up so we can pivot quickly. I have found that this helps reduce frustration and can help keep up motivation throughout the week. After that, appointments will be scheduled in an agreed upon time frame.

How do I prepare for my first appointment?

  • After you schedule your initial appointment you will receive a form via email. Please complete this form before your first appointment/group session with the dietitian. It may take you 10-20 minutes to complete. Additionally, it requires 3-5 days of food logs. If your appointment is less that 3 days away, please submit whatever food logs you do have.

What does it cost?

  • Because nutrition education and behavior change takes time and consistency, I offer my one on one services in packages. This is the self-pay/non insurance rate (see below for insurance information).

    • Première Package: One 90 minute initial appointment, meal plan with shopping list and recipes, and four 60 minute follow up appointments, integrated food journaling capability, ability to chat with dietitian: $399

    • Étoile Package: One 90 minute initial appointment, meal plan with shopping list and recipes, and six 60 minute follow up appointments, integrated food journaling capability with regular feedback, unlimited ability to chat with dietitian: $499 ($45 savings from Package 1)

    • Coryphée Package (for past attendees of a group workshop only): One 60 minute initial appointment, meal plan with shopping list and recipes, and four 60 minute follow up appointments, integrated food journaling capability, unlimited ability to chat with dietitian: $349

    • Quick check in accountability and maintenance appointments available for clients who have previously purchased any package

  • Group workshops are highly individualized to suit the needs or your team or studio. Please contact me for more information on pricing.

Will my insurance cover one on one visits?

  • It depends. Individual nutrition visits for sports/performance nutrition only are generally not covered by insurance and must be paid out of pocket using the pricing structure above.
However, when you book your appointment through Berry Street, they will perform an insurance check to see if you are eligible for coverage. Check all of the ‘reasons for visit’ that are applicable to you and enter all of your insurance information and health data (like height and weight) honestly and accurately. I highly encourage all patients to complete this step whether you think you will be covered or not. You never know what kind of benefits your insurance plan offers!

Do you create meal plans?

  • Yes! We will co-create a meal plan at your appointment. I am not able to provide meal plans outside of one on one sessions.

How do you address eating disorders (ED) or disordered eating (DE)?

  • I support clients with ED/DE in a nonjudgmental, weight-inclusive way that focuses on restoring regular eating patterns, nutritional stabilization, and supporting mental health treatment. In order to work with me, ED/DE clients must also be under the care of a medical provider and licensed mental health provider that I will communicate with regularly.

Do you support plant-based or specialty diets?

  • Absolutely. I can design balanced vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal, or other specialty diets while addressing nutrient needs and preventing deficiencies.
